Dear Friends and Customers,
Life is said to be a series of beginnings and endings, changes and transitions, joys and concerns. We are glad to announce all of the above for our family. We are excited about our new adventure working with a rural community business that is family and customer focused.
It is likely to be a surprise to many that we are making a move back to our "roots" in the Stanley community. We have been blessed these past 10 years while working in the field of education in the state of Wisconsin. Our family is at a point that a transition is welcomed.
Over the next several months we will be finalizing plans to move back "home" to Stanley, and begin working with Johnson Insurance Services Inc., while developing a partnership with Mary and Myron Johnson. Currently, we live in Prairie Farm, Wisconsin where John works as the school districtís computer coordinator and math teacher. He has coached several athletic sports including football and baseball. He has also been the chairman of the board of trustees for our church.
Currently, Johnna works in the Twin Cities as an educational consultant. Her job consists of diagnosing learning difficulties for people of all ages. She works for one of the Twin Cities largest healthcare provider at their Child Development Clinic. She has been working on her Doctoral Degree and will continue to make a few trips to the Twin Cities over the next year or so to complete her final project. The Clinic was just selected as the recipient of the "Celebration for Life", which is a grant awarded by the HealthSystem Minnesota Foundation. She was instrumental in creating the proposal for the award winning proposal. She worked as a special education teacher for the first seven years in Wisconsin. Johnna started her teaching profession with the Stanley school district.
We have two children who will be joining us in the move. Joshua is a senior in high school who loves sports. He has been successful in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He is planning to attend Minot State University this fall focusing on majors in Corporate Fitness and Marketing. Sarah is an eighth grader who is involved in many school and athletic activities. She is a very outgoing young lady who enjoys volunteering at the nursing home. She is excited to be moving closer to her extended family.
In closing, we are excited about joining the team at JISINC. We look forward to contributing to the community and continuing the quality insurance service and products that Mary and Myron have been providing.
